Wichern, Jr. ; two New York surgeons. Through the Big Brother Program, the Doctors became interested in helping boys who needed help growing up.<\/p>\n<h3>Namesakes<\/h3>\n<p>The Berwick name is derived from the contraction of the names of the two founders Dr. H.
