General Info
SUMMARY
A public Charity (IRS 501(c) 3) which offers year round programs for teenage boys.  The Foundation also runs a summer camp on Dyer Island in Maine.

FOUNDED
1949 as the Berwick Boys Foundation.

FOUNDERS
Dr. H. Meredith Berry, and Dr. Walter A. Wichern, Jr. ; two New York surgeons. Through the Big Brother Program, the Doctors became interested in helping boys who needed help growing up.

NAMESAKES
The Berwick name is derived from the contraction of the names of the two founders Dr. H. Meredith Berry, and Dr. Walter Wichern, Jr., lovingly known as Wick.
